Mission Statement:
HALO-Flight's mission is to provide medical transport for critically ill or injured persons requiring medical or trauma facilities within our South Texas service area. Emergency assistance is provided to all persons regardless of their ability to pay.

Scope of Care:
HALO-Flight is a regional air medical transport provider licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services. HALO-Flight's scope of care includes helicopter and ground medical transport with a nurse/paramedic medical crew. The medical crews provide advanced life support to adult and pediatric patients including performing assessments. Additionally, the crew intervenes with advanced skills when required by written protocols, or with the direction of the medical control physician.

Three Bell 407 helicopters are used to perform both inter-hospital transfers and emergency scene transports. Our response area includes the 26 counties surrounding Corpus Christi and we are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Requests for transport are accepted from authorized hospital personnel, EMS agencies, local and federal law enforcement departments, and fire department personnel. In extremely remote locations, HALO-Flight will respond to requests from previously authorized private parties.

HALO-Flight provides helicopter transportation for the Driscoll Children's Hospital pediatric and neonatal specialty teams transports. HALO-Flight also supports other local specialty teams with safe air transportation.
